I must say that I’m not entirely sure what the answer to this question is. I would like to point out though, that in various videos on YouTube of Bengal Cats in the wild, you will see them in lakes in India and one even eating fish off an ice block. So it’s hard for me to say definitively whether they like water or not when there are other sources mentioning experiences with Bengals actually liking water (even when it’s cold). However, because Bengals are descendants of both domestic cats and leopards; they share many traits with their cousin Felis Catus including jumping up down trees, climbing fences or walking across them effortlessly- so it might be that swimming just isn’t one of their strong points.
